I am passionate about what i do, and making sure that I always, give best advice.
I have spent the best part of 30 years as an Entrepreneur, having learnt hard lessons along the way. I always look to add value where i can, in whatever i do, and look forward to what the next 5 years has in store for us.
I'm Valery Pillay, an Estate Planning Consultant at Edgemont Financial Services. But let me take you back a bit. Before I ventured into the world of Estate Planning, I was a Legal Assistant and Procurement Advisor. It was then that I realized the true power of estate planning in safeguarding the future. Born and raised in South Africa, I've always had a passion for innovation, administration and problem-solving. I channelled this passion into my studies in History and International Relations. I mean, who wouldn't want to sit around debating global issues all day, right? However my thirst for knowledge and desire to make a broader impact led me to pursue an LLB.
Combining my expertise on international relations and estate law, I'm now equipped to tackle the intricate world of estate planning. With my diverse background and experience, I've got your back.
Hi, I am Jessica Hattingh. I joined Edgemont Financial Services in November 2023 as a Para-Planner/Head of admin. I am based in South Africa and have over 10 years’ experience in the Financial Services Industry. I strive to always deliver the best service to all clients whilst building my knowledge and skills. I am your go-to! I am here to assist you and be your voice for any problems/requests you encounter with your Assurance.
When I am not at my desk, you will find me outdoors with my daughter and fur children. I look forward to building long lasting relationships with you.
Hi, I am Kaitlyn Glöss. I am very excited to be joining Edgemont Financial Services for 2024. I am an American based remotely in Hermanus, South Africa, raising two adorable babbas, who also make me learn and grow in every way. I am a Marketing Specialist with over 10 years of combined marketing and customer experience, mostly having worked in the SAAS Startup and product lifestyle industries. I am passionate about the user experience and am here to assist you in creating your legacy. When I am not working, you will find me at the beach with my children, or renovating my first interior design passion project. As the Chief Happiness Officer, Pepper takes her job seriously – spreading joy, wagging tails, and bringing smiles to everyone she meets. With a paw-sitive attitude and a knack for boosting morale, Pepper is the four-legged force behind our workplace cheer. When she's not charming the team, you'll find her chasing tennis balls or perfecting her 'paws' for thought. Get ready for a daily dose of happiness, courtesy of Pepper!
